Delete your account

Last revised: 2026-08-16

From the app

Go to Settings → Account → «Delete my account». We will ask you to confirm who you are —with your password, or with Google if that is how you sign in— and to choose when it should be deleted.

If you choose the thirty-day period, the account is deactivated immediately, disappears from the app and is permanently deleted once that time has passed; during the period you can change your mind by signing in again to recover it. If you choose to delete it right away, we ask you twice and everything disappears there and then, with no waiting period and no way back.

If you no longer have the app installed

Write to us at soporte@gymhouse.app from the email address you created the account with, asking for its deletion. We check that the address matches and follow the same process: immediate deactivation and permanent deletion after thirty days.

Through that same address you can also request a copy of your data before it is deleted.

What is deleted and what is kept

We delete your profile and personal data, your workouts, routines, records and measurements, your posts and comments, your photos and your conversations. Any gyms you administer are closed and deleted along with the account.

Two things do not disappear: official catalogue exercises you may have created (they belong to the catalogue and do not carry your name) and the records you may have written while working for a gym —notes or visits about its members—, which stay with that gym, without your authorship.

Once the thirty-day period has passed, deletion is irreversible.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not need to delete your account to remove something specific. In GymHouse each item is deleted from the screen where you see it, and the account keeps working with everything else untouched.

A published workout: open it from your profile, tap the post's «⋯» menu and choose «Delete post». A single photo or video from that workout: in the same menu, «Edit post» and then the «×» on its thumbnail. A training plan: Training tab → open the plan → «Delete plan»; for one of its routines, that routine's bin lets you take it out of the plan or delete it along with its exercises.

A measurement: Profile → «Measurements» → «Delete measurement». A comment: «Delete», right below the comment. An exercise you created: Exercises tab → open it → «Delete exercise». A post from a gym you administer: its «⋯» menu → «Delete post».

Each deletion takes with it whatever hung from it, and nothing else: deleting a workout removes its sets, its records and the photos you uploaded to it; deleting one of your exercises removes the marks you logged with it and any post that would be left with no exercises at all. Your profile, your followers and the rest of your history are untouched.

Two things cannot be deleted on their own: what you wrote while working for a gym —notes or visits about its members— belongs to that gym and only it can remove them, and an exercise that is already part of the official catalogue belongs to the catalogue. If what you want is to delete everything, use «Delete your account» as explained above.
